Meet the Instructors
Tyler Ferguson founded Caliente Fitness in 2014 in what started as a place to practice teaching her new fitness certifications to friends. Since then she has continued to study and learn about mindful movement and recently renovated a new studio in 2018. Tyler loves people, laughter, community and fitness and creates a fun atmosphere in her classes. She holds US Soccer National C and National Youth coaching licenses, an ACE Personal Trainer certification and certifications in Indo-row®, Shockwave®, Bosu®, willPower Method®, BrogaYoga®, SUP Yoga and has completed her 200 hour YTT. |
Darrelyn Valdez’s wide array of talents in the fields of fitness and dance make her an awesome asset to Caliente Fitness. She has been certified by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America in Step Aerobics, Group Fitness, Hi/Low Floor, Strength and Conditioning, Interval Training and holds instructional certifications in Spinning, military leadership PT, and Exercise Science Fundamentals. She is certified in Zumba Basic and Zumba Basic 2. She has experience dancing Flamenco, Hula, Bollywood, Hip-Hop and choreographing in many of these formats. She is the leader of 4Overs, Bloomington’s 40 and over hip-hop performance dance group. And she studied martial arts for 12 years. She holds a BA in Sociology from The University of New Mexico.
